RxOrderly works for you, not for the drug industry. Rivka SVCS LLC does not accept funding, sponsorship, or any other form of payment from pharmaceutical manufacturers or their agents. The App does not display third-party advertising. We do not sell your personal information. The App does not recommend, suggest, or promote any particular medication; it functions solely to help you keep track of the medications that you and your healthcare provider have already selected. Rivka SVCS LLC does not receive any commission, referral fee, or other compensation in connection with your prescription medications or your selection of a pharmacy. RxOrderly is funded by user subscriptions.
The one exception is supplements. Rivka SVCS LLC participates in affiliate programs offered by certain retailers of vitamins and dietary supplements (for example, iHerb and Amazon Associates). Where the App provides a link to purchase a vitamin or supplement from such a retailer, Rivka SVCS LLC may receive a commission from that retailer if you complete a qualifying purchase. This affiliate relationship applies only to vitamins and supplements; it does not apply to prescription medications or pharmacies; and it does not change the prices or options the App shows you. Such links are identified within the App at the point at which they appear.
This Privacy Policy explains how Rivka SVCS LLC ("Rivka SVCS," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the RxOrderly mobile application (the "App"). It applies to your use of the App and should be read together with our Terms of Use. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
By default, all of the medication information you enter — including medication names, dosages, schedules, refill history, doctor-visit notes, and supply counts — is stored on your device. This data is encrypted at rest by your device’s operating system, Rivka SVCS LLC has no access to it, and you are the only person who can view it. We do not upload your on-device data to our servers. This applies to all users, including RxOrderly Premium subscribers, unless you choose to turn on optional cloud backup or sync as described below.
Card photos (insurance cards, government IDs, Social Security cards, medical alert cards, and other medical documents). The App lets you take or select photos of cards from your wallet — such as your insurance card, driver’s license or other government ID, Social Security card, medical alert card, or other medical documents — and save them to your medical profile. These photos are stored as image files in the App’s private storage on your device, alongside your medication data, and under the same protections described above: encrypted at rest by your device’s operating system, with no copies sent to Rivka SVCS LLC. They remain on your device until you delete them from within the App or delete the App. You decide separately, each time you generate a Visit Prep PDF, whether any of these photos are included in that PDF; see Section 12 for how that inclusion is handled.
Optional cloud backup and sync (RxOrderly Premium). We are developing an optional cloud backup and multi-device sync feature for RxOrderly Premium. It is not enabled by default and does not upload anything on its own. If we make it available and you choose to turn it on, the medication data you select will be uploaded to and stored on our cloud service provider's servers solely to provide backup, restore, and synchronization across your devices — and, where offered, to share information with caregivers you authorize. Before any such upload occurs, we will update this Policy to describe that processing (including the provider) and obtain your consent, and you will be able to turn the feature off and delete data stored in the cloud.
If you contact us for support and choose to share data with us (for example, by exporting and sending a database file), we will use that data only to assist you and will not retain it afterward.
When you use the App, our service providers collect limited technical and usage information to help us operate and improve it:
When you use features that help you find local resources — such as nearby pharmacies or savings programs — the App requests access to your device location and sends it to a mapping or places provider solely to return nearby results. We do not store your location, and these features are optional. You can allow or deny location access at any time in your device settings.
To look up medication information, the App queries publicly available government databases, including the U.S. National Library of Medicine's RxNorm / RxNav and U.S. Food and Drug Administration resources. These queries may include the medication names you search for. They do not include your name or other personal identifiers. Your use of those databases is subject to the providers' own terms and practices.
If you choose to send a refill request, the App transmits the information needed to fulfill it — such as the medication(s) involved, the contact details you provide, and your selected pickup or delivery preference — to the pharmacy or retailer you select. RxOrderly acts only as a messaging layer to pass along your request; we do not process payments and are not part of any payment-card flow. The pharmacy or retailer you contact handles your request under its own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Subscription purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment-card information. We may receive limited subscription status (for example, whether you have an active plan) to enable paid features.
To deliver medication reminders and other notifications, the App uses the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), which involve a device notification token. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.
We use the limited information described above to operate, maintain, and improve the App; to deliver features you request (such as lookups, nearby results, and refill requests); to provide customer support; to diagnose problems and maintain security; and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share limited information only as described in this Policy:
The medication data you enter remains on your device until you delete it or delete the App. If you enable optional cloud backup or sync, data stored with our cloud service provider is retained until you delete it, turn the feature off, or close your account. Analytics and crash data held by our service providers are retained according to their standard schedules. If you share data with us for support, we do not retain it after assisting you.
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information, including storing the medication data you enter on your own device by default, where it is encrypted at rest by your device’s operating system. Rivka SVCS LLC does not have access to your on-device data, and you are the only person who can view it. For any data processed off your device (such as optional cloud backup, analytics, and crash diagnostics), we use reputable service providers with appropriate safeguards. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keeping your device protected with a passcode or biometric lock helps protect your information. RxOrderly also offers an optional in-app lock (Settings → Privacy & Security) that uses your device’s biometric authentication or passcode to gate access to app contents after launch or after a period of being backgrounded; this check is performed entirely by your device’s operating system, and no biometric data ever reaches Rivka SVCS LLC.
Visit Prep PDFs and card photos. When you generate a Visit Prep PDF from within the App, the App lets you choose, on a separate screen of the Visit Prep wizard, whether to include photos of cards you have stored (such as your insurance card, government ID, or Social Security card). You decide individually which cards are included. Before any Visit Prep PDF containing card photos is sent through your device’s sharing options — including share, email, print, or any other export — the App displays a confirmation dialog identifying what is in the PDF and asks you to confirm. Once you choose to share, email, print, or otherwise export a Visit Prep PDF outside the App, the resulting file is no longer protected by the App. How it is then stored, transmitted, or further shared is governed by the receiving service’s policies and by the recipient’s handling, not by Rivka SVCS LLC.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, provides you with certain rights. In the past 12 months, the categories of personal information we may collect through the App are:
We collect this information from you directly and automatically from your device, and we use it for the purposes described in Section 9. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to know about and access the personal information we collect; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do); to limit the use of sensitive personal information (which we already limit); and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, email us at support@rxorderly.com. We may need to verify your request, and you may use an authorized agent.
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@rxorderly.com and we will delete it.
The App relies on third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Google / Firebase, Sentry, the Apple App Store and Google Play, the U.S. National Library of Medicine and U.S. Food and Drug Administration data resources, and any pharmacies, retailers, or programs you choose to contact. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their practices.
The App is currently offered in the United States, and information processed by us and our service providers is handled in the United States.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice, such as within the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
If you have questions about this Policy or your information, contact us at support@rxorderly.com.
